Since almost everything related to media gets to be at one point or
another related to the world of 3D the term and its relation to our
state of perception can be for sure evaluated from the very perspective
of interacting with our senses.
So how and why did 3D as a concept conquer the world evolving into what it is now?
People like Fredo made out of Devianart the exact choice of 3D display, exquisitely made so everything around it would look faded and not at all spectacular.
The 3D drawings come as something truly unusual and visionary but
also give the art the possibility of expressing its best to the maximum.
As surprising as it may seem in this case 3D alters perception. It
makes it more opened, easier to be bent and available to be influenced.
3D art has the unique purpose of influencing the mind and improving our vision but also open our minds to a different perspective.
When Visible Body created their software using the 3D technology the progressive scanning of the human body has become history.
It is true you need to get an account with them and pay the fee for
using the software but the multitude of applications is totally worth
it.
Just imagine how an anatomy class would look taught using this
amazing application and how much more can education become when provided
 with the 3D features.
It is common knowledge that 3D scans have helped science in so many
ways but introducing it in the school system will for sure change the
perspective over education.
Anybody who saw Avatar in 3D saw the whole concept of super
cinematography transformed into a beyond reality experience. Although it
was just recently that the concept became familiar to the general
public, the 3D technology is populating the world of video and computer
games from almost a decade.
Looking at the vintage games like GTA Vice City and comparing them
with the Art of the Uncharted, the evolution is obvious to anybody who
wants to analyze it. Movies like Wolfman and Descendants represent the
opposite sides of 3D application into the media entertainment.
Look at it, open your mind and answer this question:
If 3D is changing our perception how long will it be until its
amazing evolution is going to completely alter our existence as a
species?
